Due to Covid-19 this year's event will be a virtual 5K. Everyone who gets out in memory of Mary will be honored on the website. Please email us your time and distance and don't forget to check back in a couple weeks for the update. Also don't forget to include any photos you are willing to share.

The Believe Memorial Foundation aims to raise awareness of cancer through community events and to aid research in the fight against cancer. The foundation will also support former and current students of the McKendree School of Education with grants for alumni and scholarships for future teacher candidates.

The Believe Memorial Foundation was created in March 2018 to honor Mary and her love of fitness and the outdoors after her passing on January 20, 2018. Honoring her determination in finishing her first Tough Mudder, Mary had the word “believe” tattooed in her own design which now serves as the identifying mark of the foundation. Find out more ...
